Ocoee Group Trips

Take your group whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River!

Whether you have a church group, Scout troop, corporate retreat, family reunion, sports team, or wedding party, Ocoee River rafting is an ideal activity for most groups of people 12 years of age and older. The thrill of paddling through Class III and IV whitewater will keep everyone focused as they learn to paddle together as a team. The beautiful wilderness scenery of the Ocoee River gorge helps promote a sense of relaxation and reflection (even in teenagers). And through it all, our professional guides ensure that everyone feels comfortable and has fun.

At Cascade Outdoors, we have experience dealing with most types of groups and can tailor our Ocoee River rafting trips to meet your group's specific needs and preferences whether you have a group of adventurous teenagers or a mature professional crowd. We run our trips on time, so that you can schedule additional activities before or after your rafting trip without worry. Please call us if you would like references from previous camps, churches, or professional groups with whom we have worked.

Reservations & Payment

Call us at 1-800-338-7238 to make a reservation!

Organizing a group outing is difficult enough, so we try to be as flexible as possible with our deposit and refund policies. Generally, we ask that you submit a deposit of 50% within 30 days of making a reservation and the remainder 30 days prior to your trip date. Trips scheduled less than 30 days prior to a trip date should be paid in full at the time the reservation is made. We accept checks, Visa, and MasterCard. In addition, all payments are fully refundable up to 2 weeks prior to your trip date. We do not, however, offer refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the scheduled trip. Please talk to us when you make your reservation if you are unsure about your group size or about how our refund policies apply to your group.

We are willing to hold a date for your group with no obligation while you organize trip sign-up and collect payment from your group. In addition, we can set up a different payment schedule for your group if necessary. Please call us at 1-800-338-7238 to discuss these options.

Youth Trips

Kids love rafting on the Ocoee River! If you're bringing a youth group rafting, please make sure everyone is at least 12 years old—this is a state law. In addition, everyone must sign a liability waiver, and kids under 18 years old will need to have a parent sign for them. Group chaperones cannot sign for minors! Click here to download a printable waiver, or call us at 1-800-338-7238 to have us mail or fax you a waiver. If you're bringing a Girl or Boy Scout troop to the Ocoee River, ask us about whitewater badges.

The closest campgrounds are at Chilhowee campground and at Parksville Lake campground.
